Their name translates to &#8220;the boat people,&#8221; emphasizing the Warao&#8217;s intimate and lifelong connection with water.<\/p>&#13;\n\r\n\r\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: center;\">The Wamma collection, meaning &#8216;earth&#8217; in the Warao language, is inspired by the lush rainforest and the wonderful wildlife that these indigenous communities live among. They exist in perfect symbiosis with their environment, consuming only what nature offers them in a specific place at a specific time\u2026 an archaic concept of hunter-gatherers.<\/p>&#13;\n\r\n\r\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: center;\">The Warao universe is subtly incorporated into this initial collection, which aims to transcend trends and transport you to a place where humid days contrast with soft, warm sands, fresh water, and lush vegetation. This is how we chose the names for the swimsuit models in this collection: YAKARI (dawn), JOBAJI (earth), WANIKU (moon), TANA (bouquet of flowers), TOKOYO (flower), DIKO (life), INABE (jungle), NAJAMUTO (sky), IMA (night).<\/p>&#13;\n\r\n\r\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: center;\">A step back in time. A tribute to culture and traditions.
